Description
Pre-assembled unit that includes a pressure independent control valve (PICV), flushing bypass with integrated ball valves, and a strainer with drain valve. It is designed for use with fan coil units (FCUs) and other terminal units in hydronic heating and cooling systems.
The PICV ensures that a constant flow rate is delivered to the FCU, regardless of fluctuations in the system pressure. This helps to improve energy efficiency and comfort. The flushing bypass allows the FCU to be flushed without having to remove the valve assembly. The integrated ball valves allow the FCU to be isolated from the system for maintenance. The strainer with drain valve helps to protect the FCU from dirt and debris.
The HerzCON Insulated FCU Valve Assembly with PICV is available in a variety of sizes to suit different flow rates. It is also available with a variety of actuator options, including on/off and modulating.
