Y-Strainers are devices for mechanically removing unwanted solids from liquid, gas or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. They are used in pipelines to protect pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators and other process equipment.

Description

– HERZ-Strainer The” yellow “strainer is available in dimensions DN15 to DN80 for hot water systems.
– Model inclined version, DZR brass body, connection socket x socket, screen of chrome-nickel steel, mesh widths, depending on the dimension: 0.5- and 0.75-mm.
– Installation Strainers can be installed horizontally or vertically, taking into account the direction of flow. The screen chamber should always point downward.
– Cleaning After draining the affected part of the system, the screw plug of the strainer has to be opened and the screen insert has to be removed for cleaning.
